Defining Lolscript

A type of living off the land technique. Lolscripts include scripts pre-installed in Windows, for example, PowerShell scripts (.ps1), Windows Script files (.wsf), Visual Basic scripts (.vbs), and batch scripts (.bat).

  • PubPrn.vbs - PubPrn.vbs can be hijacked to execute remote scripts.
  • CL_LoadAssembly.ps1 - CL_LoadAssembly.ps1 can be used to circumvent AppLocker, a whitelisting service available in Windows 10 enterprise editions.
  • CL_Mutexverifiers.ps1 - Can be used with specific arguments to launch executables.
