Defining Quid Pro Quo

Quid Pro Quo in the context of social engineering often refers to a hacker posing as an IT admin who requires sensitive information from the victim under the pretense of providing an IT service that the victim needs. A Quid Pro Quo social engineering attack will often end with the hacker taking control of the victim's computer or account.
