Defining Script Kiddie

A script kiddie hacker is a malicious actor with low technical skills who uses pre-made scripts, programs, or other tools made by far more knowledgeable users. Script kiddies are typically motivated by a desire to show off their technical prowess, gain recognition among their peers, or take part in activities that they find exciting and challenging. They may also be motivated by a need for revenge or a desire to cause disruption or chaos.
